Rainer Werner Fassbinder ( Georges Bensoussan, FR, 1981)
By juxtaposing inextricably extracts from films, excerpts from interviews with the director and his most regular collaborators, shots that seek geographical equivalents, plastic or human correspondences with the work, Georges Bensoussan has almost succeeded in making himself invisible he has made something that is like a small film by Fassbinder himself, as if the filmmaker had made his selfportrait there.
