DEGRADANCE Live in Tula 2004

DEGRADANCE is a russian project of poet and writer Alexei Rafiev, composer and soundproducer Anton gnusGnus Gnusny (19722020), and musicians from the Moscow band LamBops bassguitarist Konstantin Kot Tolmachev (19642007) and guitarist Anton Cheskidov. In 2004, DEGRADANCE performed in the city of Tula at the artfestival 100 years of Salvador Dali, organized by curator Alexander Aladin on the occasion of the centennial anniversary of the great artist, especially revered by the Tulish avantgarde artistic environment, which once in 1992 even organized the action Funeral Salvador Dali with a solemn procession through the city center, a percussion orchestra, followed by the burial of the effigy of the painter in a coffin and the detention by the police of the same Alexander Aladin as the organizer of this event. Aleksey Rafiev s melody recitation of his poems, together with radical industrialpsychedelic music, quite organically fit into the concept of Dali
