George Frideric Handel Oboe concerto No. 3 in G minor, HWV 287
This concerto, scored for the usual Baroque orchestra of strings and basso continuo, was the first of Handel s three oboe concertos to be composed. It was written sometime around 1703 while Handel was still a young man living in Hamburg, but it was the last to be published and is therefore somewhat unfairly known as No. 3. Performed by the Academy Of St. MartinintheFields orchestra. Oboe Roger Lord Conductor Neville Marriner Please take note that I do not own the rights to the audio or the sheet music used in this video. The video is for noncomercial use.
