Dancing with Frame Drum

The strangest and most magical thing occurred on the day of this performance I chose my outfit and decided to dance with my drum for the first time on the day of the show I created this choreography during the show while I was waiting for my time to perform. My creative process almost never happens like that. This dance is inspired by raqs sharqi, transnational fusion, Persian, and Central Asian dances (including Tajik, Azeri, and Uyghur dance).
