Brazil s Lula da Silva declares state of emergency following riot

A state of emergency until the end of this month has been declared by Brazils President Lula da Silva after an estimated 4, 000 protesters stormed the presidential palace and other key government buildings. Brazilian political scientist Paulo Afonso told RT that the chaos could have been anticipated.
