China is breaking all the international norms

The Australian s Greg Sheridan says China is breaking all the international norms and the G7 summit is being transformed into a declaratory summit for liberal democracies to push back against it. Mr Sheridan said the G7 used to be about economic policy coordination but it s now more about broader political and international issues that are an association of liberal democracies and economies. COVID has had one good consequence; it has massively slimmed down the international summit season, so leaders choose very carefully what summits they are going to, he said.
