Remembering Sandra Day OConnor and her legacy on and off the Supreme Court
Sandra Day O Connor, the historymaking justice who was the first woman to serve on the Supreme Court, died Friday at 93. Her tenure is notable not just because she was the first woman, but also because of what she did in her 24 years there.
