Never saw myself as a Muslim comedian because comedians were always known to lie to make people laugh. So I decided to be different and wanted to do Muslim Comediy without lying. Thus, I don t mock Islam, or other religions, or even people. Instead, I base my comedy on the funny things we go through. On stage, I just act like myself and try to share those experiences. Anyways, after a few shows, people for whatever reason liked this style (i was actually surprised) and the next thing I know know, my inbox was flooded. I started getting offers to do shows all around the world. I couldn t believe that people wanted to pay me just to hear me talk. I did a lot college events, fundraisers, Islamic Awareness week events, and a variety of other shows. The smallest audience I ve performed in front of was around 20 people and the largest was about 44, 000.
