Bonnie and Clyde February 25 2017
Bonnie and Clyde had been digging in a deer carcass. Their bills were covered with deer hair and dried blood. They were also pretty vocal(for them). It was bitter cold that daytemp was around 0F or 17C. Bonnie and Clyde can tolerate very cold temperatures since there are always road killed deer and small mammals for them to scavenge. I ve seen them out there when temperatures were 30C or 22F. Their razor sharp bills with that hook allows them to slice through meat that is frozen hard as a stone.
