Mc Kays Bunting, Островная пуночка, Plectrophenax hyperboreus

On St Matthew Island, Bering Sea, not far from the Russia, USA border. Breeds only on this small island and nearby Hall Island. This male is probably a 1st summer bird. Very few birders have ever visited this location and so thanks to John Pushock for organising the sea expedition that took us to such a unique place.
