Crochet hippo tutorial head and ears

Hello everyone, in this tutorial i would like to show you how to crochet hippo. This is beginner friendly tutorial. Tutorial has two parts. This is part 1 where Ill show you how to make the head and ears of hippo. WRITTEN PATTERN: You ll need one ball of chenille yarn. 4 mm crochet hook: 5 mm crochet hook stuffing cotton yarn (black) safety eye buttons if you want (1. 5 cm) yarn needle, stitch marker, pair of scissors, sewing thread (sometimes it is better for sewing of individual parts) and pins with large head.
