1964 SPECIAL REPORT: GEORGE LINCOLN ROCKWELL GOES TO COLLEGE
VOTERS USUALLY GET what they deserve, and the Americans who went to the polls on November 3 deserved and got something better than Barry Goldwater, the man with the goodguy face who was the central figure of the slimiest campaign in American political history. In erasing Goldwater, they probably erased the influence of alot of halfbaked nuts who are members of countless hundreds of organizations whose business is stirring up trouble and peddling hate. The worst and most ludicrous of all these outfits is the American Nazi Party, whose leader, George Lincoln Rockwell, was for some reason invited to appear on the CBCs This Hour Has Seven Days. Rockwell, not one to skip an opportunity for free publicity, and in constant touch with fellowNazis in both Canada and England, obviously didn t impress many Canadians.
