We ll use channels and blending modes for that modellike texture seen on magazine covers. Let s get started Open your photo in Photoshop and go to the Channels panel. Select the darkest channel (usually blue). Duplicate it and apply a Gaussian Blur filter with a radius around 58 pixels.
