Marty s Matchbox Makeovers This is a unique video in that, for the first time, it features the restoration of a Matchbox Lesney, limited edition ashtray. Ashtrays are quite collectable these days as society s acceptance of smoking has declined and ashtrays are no longer as prolific as they were. Who could resist the temptation of owning one of these genuine Matchbox ashtrays Not me I had to have this one and also had to try my best at getting it to look new again. It took sometime but I am more than pleased with the result and I am now the proud owner and will have it permanently on display near my front door to receive car keys or loose change.
