Illusions Something About em (1927)
Intertitle reads: Things are not always what they seem, said Prof. Hunter, as he produced a wineglass from nowhere in M, S of a magician moving a handkerchief around for the camera. He lifts the handkerchief to reveal a glass. Nowhere in particular as he explained Magician puts the glass in his inside jacket pocket. He then does the trick again showing how he takes the glass from his inside pocket as he moves the handkerchief around. Second trick. Can you balance a coin on it s edge on your hand C, U of magician placing a coin on the tips of his fingers. The coin mysteriously moves backwards on his hand until it is lying flat. So Magician shows how it is done. A pin is placed behind the coin which supports it as it is slowly allowed to move backwards. A pack of cards can also be dealt C, U of pack of cards balanced on the magicians fist. He twists them around to show how they are balanced one card is bent around and supports the others.
