2016 Toyota Mirai FCV hydrogen fuel cell car

Its name in Japanese means future, and more than just another new car, Toyota says the 2016 Mirai is a symbolic first step toward a Hydrogen Society for the next 100 years. Whether the companys first production fuel cell vehicle will be the future as Toyota has said suggesting an eventually prominent technology, or a future as Toyota has alternately and moreconservatively said, is an open question.
