Australians In Egypt (1914 1918)
Australians in Egypt. L, S of a long line of troops on horseback riding across desert. They stop and dismount, run forwards and fall on their fronts with their rifles. Others, still on horses ride off with the spare horses. The men lie prone on the ground, then start to take aim (and fire ) with their rifles. The other soldiers arrive back with the horses, in a cloud of dust. Those on the ground, get up, mount their horses and start to ride off. Looks like military exercise rather than actual warfare.
