Alexander Dubiansky, the distinguished Russian Indianist, passed away 18 November 2020 in Moscow. His love for India was boundless. Alexander Dubiansky devoted all his life to Tamil history, religion and culture, speaking fantastic Tamil, knowing Tamil literature and teaching Tamil to his desciples in Russia. Dubiansky s heritage is a real treasure for the RussianIndian relations embracing his students who love Tamil and speak Tamil language, profound interesting books he wrote about India and Tamil world and the atmosphere of love and admiration for Tamil tradition which now is present in Russia.
