St Ives Plein Air Oil Painting Demo

A very cold winters day but beautiful clear light and typical Cornish fishing boat with white washed houses too. A tough paint against the elements (mainly wind cold ) Its such a pretty scene though and I enjoyed the subject. I hope you do too, with lots of commentary on making a plein air oil painting from start to finish. I tested a new set up with my palette next to my painting so you can see the colour mixing easily. It was good but limiting what size canvas I could use. The pochade, easel is called a DayTripper by Prolific Painter.
