Jose Gallegos, San Antonio FC

Jose Gallegos is an 18yearold attacking midfielder who plays for San Antonio FC. He was still playing high school soccer until a few months ago. He broke through last season where he showed off his skill and during this season s preseason and the first game he was emerging as a key player. He signed his first pro contract back in February which meant he would no longer be going to college in the fall. Gallegos is a MexicanAmerican dualnational. He was going to be called up to the U20 camp in March that was canceled. He is an extremely unique prospect, we haven t seen a player with his South American flair, potentially ever. He s a good striker of the ball, works hard defensively, is a monster on the ball, and an aboveaverage passer. Honestly, one of my favorite youth prospects we have and his rise has been unconventional but he s quickly rising up the ranks.
