Sculpting a custom Jockey for Left 4 Dead 2 using Zbrush, 3 D Coat, and Photoshop
Authority FX takes you into their free time by modeling a custom jockey for the zombie shooter, Left 4 Dead 2. First using Dynamesh inside Zbrush, the basemesh is blocked out while capturing the larger details. The model is then sent into 3DCoat for retopology and UV unwrapping. Back into Zbrush, the low res game mesh is then detailed using various brushes and techniques.
