The President s Hymn aka Give Thanks, All Ye People by William Augustus Mühlenberg and Joseph W. Turner, 1863. Performed by the FEDERAL CITY BRASS BAND conducted by Jari Villanueva. The hymn was played during the candlelight vigil held on April 14, 2015 at Ford s Theatre in Washington, D. C. in memory of President Abraham Lincoln s assassination in 1865. The 150th anniversary tribute was attended by thousands who stood on 10th Street at 10:15 p. m. to remember the moment of the president s assassination. D
