router lift (new)
I built a lift using a cable setup and and mounted it in a rather large router table about a year and a half ago. Sense then I realized two things, one: I don t use the table enough to justify the floor space and two, I need my plunge base for my router more than I thought and because it s basically permanently mounted in the table I m left without one. I recently watched a jay bates video where he was able to increase his rip capacity on his table saw by shifting his fence rails over one bolt hole. Although it wasn t quit as easy on my ridgid table saw, I did manage to get it done and I though that would now be the ideal spot for my router.
