Full Title reads: The Mushers Derby American s best sled dog teams in stern test of speed and endurance for man and United States of America. Long shot of crowd gathered in snowy street. They are gathered around the start of a dog sledge race. A voice is counting down to the start of the race. The first team, powered by Huskies, is released. Various shots of the different teams as they negotiate the course, which appears mainly to be on the streets of the town. The race then moves out into the country. A man standing at the side as one team passes falls over on the ice. Long shot of what appears to be the finishing area. Three teams come to a halt. C, U man holding his dog (not a husky).
