Primo Carnera Boxer (1929 1930)
Primo Carnera Boxer. Probably filmed in the Pathe Studio, London. M, S of the boxer Primo Carnera, dressed in a suit, standing with a considerably shorter man in front of a small boxing ring in the studio. The man introduces Carnera, saying he created a sensation last week at the Albert Hall when he defeated Jack Stanley in 1 min 40 seconds. He says Canera is now willing to box any man in the world, but the difficultly lies in finding an opponent. The man explains that Carnera is 6 9 and weighs 20 stone 6 lbs. Carnera puts his arm out, over the head of the other man. They compare hand and feet sizes Carnera certainly is a big man The man ends by saying if there is any gentleman or lady ( ) in the audience who would like to have a few rounds with Canera he will be very happy to oblige.
