MEGARAPTORA. Dinosaurs size comparison and data
MEGARAPTORANS are a mysterious group of theropods. Their fossil record is at the moment quite limited, and their evolutive origin is still not completely certain; although at the moment they are considered Coleurosaurs, related to Tyrannosauroids. Unlike most theropods, Megaraptors feature welldeveloped forelimbs, with large claws that might have been their primary weapon. Their fossils suggest they were extremely agile, and specimens like Murusraptor seem to have had a large brain for a theropod.
