Will the US Ever Change Its Interventionist Foreign Policy
November 4 was the anniversary of the takeover of the US embassy in Tehran in 1979. After the 1979 revolution, many Iranians who had experienced foreign interference were worried that Americans might conspire against their revolution again like what they had done in 1953. Therefore, a group of Iranian college students belonging to the Muslim Student Followers of the Imam s Line, who supported the Iranian Revolution, took over the U. S. Embassy in Tehran. Now that many people throughout the world are following the presidential election results in the US, it is fair to ask this question. Will the US ever change its interventionist foreign policy
