Ill end with the beginning. I ve tried to give it a shape and a name but its taken so many faces, I dont really know when its there. A little girl, Ingrid, a tower, a room. It can possess anything and anyone. Its shapeless, eternal, free, insidious. Weve been doing this for so long, this dance, whatever this is. Ive learned to develop my own ways, like offerings to a deity. I need to feed it and tame it. This isnt horror and it s not evil, this isn t about that. Its just what happens. So I make my own rituals. It gets better when I create things and when Im proud. It gets better when youre watching me.
