The Bhakti Beat Krishna Das Kirtan Benefit for the Tibetan Hope of Hope, Irvington, NY. April 17, 2014. Tara s Mantra, from KD s new CD, Kirtan Wallah, is his version of a classic Buddhist mantra to Tara, a deity embodying true compassion. Which was fitting for the chantforcharity event at the Irvington, NY, Town Hall to benefit the Tibetan Home of Hope, a nonprofit organization that provides a loving home, sustenance, education and cultural teachings for nearly 150 Tibetan children who would otherwi
