Item title reads Young Australia is here 140 sturdy schoolboys from all parts of Commonwealth arrive on educational visit to Mother Country. Southampton and London. M, S as cadets, dressed in naval uniform, all take their hats off and hold them in the air. They give three cheers. Intertitle Geoff Byrne the 3 foot 6 inch drum M, S of the little boy carrying his baton, he is wearing a white uniform with dark braiding. M, S as the cadets disembark, the mayor meets Geoff and they shake hands. Intertitle at the M, S as two cadets carry a big wreath, others line up behind. Two younger ones take it and place it on the Cenotaph, they salute. M, S as they march along carrying flags of the Commonwealth, Geoff walks along in front of the band. The title is repeated. M, S pan down the ship to the cadets who are stood on deck. Geoff walks down the ramp and the cadets follow carrying their instruments. Geoff talks to another cadet who puts his hand on his head.
