This twopart documentary looks back to the 60s and 70s and charts how Australia got its own rock n roll sound thanks to the lifelong bond between music company Albert Productions and The Youngs. Blood and Thunder The Sound of Alberts is a tale of two families and the music they made. The Alberts an elegant, welltodo dynasty. And The Youngs an unruly clan of 10pound migrants from the tough suburbs of Glasgow. They were from different planets but through music they locked together in a blood pact fiercely determined to produce a sound that would conquer the world.
