ARMENIA EUROVISION 2022 REACTING TO SNAP BY ROSA LINN

Hi guys Welcome back to my channel If youre new here, my names Rachel and Im a huge Eurovision fan. In todays video, I reacted to Armenia s song for ESC 2022, Snap by Rosa Linn. This song took me by surprise as I usually have a set expectation for Armenia ethnic bop with plenty of tradition and Armenian culture, or a sultry ballad that brings lots of tension and wonderful musical ideas. Instead, they ve opted for a very indie sound, reminiscent of the early 2010 s scene think Lumineers or Ben Howard. And I love it. The main reason why I really liked Snap, was the clever way to which the melody was developed and spun out to stop the song from becoming repetitive or motionless. They took a simple hook Snapping 1, 2 and then from there, used techniques such as sequencing, and themevariation. Really great stuff
