Triple Crown For England (1957)
Twickenham, Middlesex. Start of the international rugby match between England and Scotland. GV. Kick off. Scotland in dark shirts. England in white. Scotland kicking from right to left. The ball sails into the English half. SV. Jackson with the ball starting to run and is brought down by Allan. The ball goes loose, another English man kicks it into touch. GV. Massed crowd. LV. Bartlett looses the ball, Smith grabs it and is tackled by and English player. CU. The two men falling on the ground. Pan as Jackson is running with the ball but he is set upon by Allan and Robson and he drops the ball. Bartlett rushes in but misses it. Smith picks the ball up and tries to get through but he is stopped and passes it back to Allan. Allan receives it but is tackled by Robins and pulled to the ground. Ball is loose and they all try to dive in and get it. SCU. Crowd. LV. Smith tries to kick forward but Butterfield grabs it and starts to run. He passes it to Phil Davies who dives over for a try.
