Reputedly the most beautiful beach in Britain, the remote, wild, and spectacular Sandwood Bay in Kinlochbervie (in the north of Scotland) is backed by huge sand dunes and a loch. There is no direct road access to Sandwood Bay so you ll have to do the 8mile (return) relatively easy walk if you want to experience this utterly stunning hidden gem. The walk begins at Blairmore, where there is a car park and toilets.
