Full titles read: Our Sporting Prince Prince of Wales, riding Miss Muffit II, in Welsh Guards Challenge Cup, takes two pluckily remounts and was unlucky to lose the race, when victory seemed Hawthorn Hill, Berkshire ( ). Various show the Prince of Wales (Duke of Windsor, King Edward VIII) mounting his horse and riding towards the racecourse starting point. Several shots show the race; the Prince falls just after a fence and people rush to help him back onto his horse. He rides off. Intertitle reads: A slowmotion In slowmotion we see the Prince falling after this fence from a different angle. At normal speed we see more shots of the race; mostly of the Prince. Intertitle reads: These are the first slowmotion pictures ever taken of His Royal Slowmotion M, S of the Prince taking a jump. In normal speed we see him riding along after the race.
