Spectacular Views Old Montreal, Vieux Montréal
On the last day of 2019, I would like to share my latest video of Old Montreal. Old Montreal (French: VieuxMontréal) is a historic neighborhood within the municipality of Montreal in the province of Quebec, Canada. Founded by French settlers in 1642 as Fort VilleMarie, Old Montreal is home to many structures dating back to the era of the 17th century. Many traces of Old Montreal from those days still remain. In 1964, much of Old Montreal was declared a historic district by the Ministère des Affaires culturelles du Québec. I highly recommend visiting Old Montreal and explore everything it has to offer. This historic district is the birth of Montreal as we know today. Narrow cobblestone streets with stunning architecture will take you back to the 17th century. Old Montreal has a rich history with many pivotal events. Back in the days, Old Montreal used to be a French colony, controlled by King Louis XIV of France.
