What do we owe the Afghans ( And how many of them will be coming to live in Europe )

There appears to be a general feeling in Europe that Britain and other countries are somehow in debt to thousands of Afghans and that we have duty to build houses for them, so that they can living in our country. Some feel that this is an ill founded and mistaken perspective of the situation.
