Item title reads Bo Durbar. Sierra Leone. Queen Elizabeth II gets out of her car and meets dignitaries. Various shots of the Queen with Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, watching the parade of chiefdoms. M, S of the Africans in costumes. The chiefs are carried in hammocks under a canopy. M, S of one man dressed in a devil outfit which makes him look like a big mop. The Duke laughs. Various shots of people and devils dancing along and playing instruments. One chief gets up and shakes hands with the Queen and Duke, he gets a commemorative medallion then returns to his hammock. Various shots as the parade continues. M, S of Queen at Kenema, she watches two little boys crushing seeds ( ) with a big mortar and pestle. M, S of the Queen watching a man weaving, she enters a thatched house. M, S of the two little boys again. She emerges and watches a woman having her hair done while she breast feeds her baby, the Queen looks in a shack covered with leaves.
