Eikonos Big Ship ( Cardiacs cover tribute)

Some 15 years ago I was a mid20 s musician music nerd when a close friend of mine introduced me to Cardiacs Angleworm Angel. As the intro guitarriff filled the air, I was in love. Never have I fallen in love with anything (or anyone) that fast, not before nor after, but I knew this was it. Three seconds in I knew I loved this band. Blown away by their unique sound, amazed at their complex and creative compositional style and just plain happy to have stumbled upon something that I knew would impact and inspire me for the rest of my life. Since Tim Smith s passing, I felt I had to give something back to him, the band their amazing following. So here s my interpretation of their song Big Ship.
