Another picks a cocoa pod. Man eats sugar cane. Tin Mining. Open cast method. Many men working by hand. Groundnuts ploughs are pulled by water buffalo. Seeds sown by hand, using the feet to make holes for the seed. Children and women work. Groundnut plants are harvested and stacked. Simple tools are used for threshing. The women pound the nuts in mortars to separate the husks. Winnowing letting the husks blow away in the wind. Sacks of groundnuts are loaded on to mules and taken to market.
