Mads Mikkelsen (Hannibal) stars in this delirious comedy from Denmark s Anders Thomas Jensen (The Green Butchers), about two sadsack brothers who head to a dilapidated mansion on a remote island to meet their biological father and their three seriously eccentric siblings. One could only hope there would be an Oscar for Most Fucked Up Film because if there were Anders Thomas Jensen would claim 2015s gold statue. MEN AND CHICKEN plops us into the twisted lives of Elias (an unrecognizable Mads Mikkelsen) and Gabriel (David Dencik), brothers with seemingly little in common bar cleft palates and hilariouslyperverted sexual compulsions. After being told of their fathers death, they quickly learn that their biological father is still alive and holed up on the remote island, Ork. Armed with this life changing information, Elias and Gabriel head to the island intent on bonding with the father they never knew, however, what they find are three new brothers and the darkest family secrets imaginable.
