The Orange Harvest (1930)
Filmed in Sunny Spain. Spanish tots set off for the Orange orchards a group of young children (48 years old probably) walk away from the camera down a country lane. A woman leads them into an orchard and they begin to pick fruit from the trees. C, U of the fruit hanging from the tree. C, U two young girls picking the fruit from the tree. M, S of three girls crouching on the ground putting fruit into a basket (these look more like apples actually). C, U of three girls eating Orange segments. They laugh. Where the fruit hangs higher, big brothers and fathers find a job Low angle shot of men picking fruit high in the tree tops. Young boys carry baskets on their heads. High angle shot of a large basket full of fruit. Fruit is tipped from baskets onto a large pile. Youngsters sort the fruit in a large warehouse.
