Forbidding Racial Profiling; Or, Why the British Police Cannot Play Guess the Ethnicity

As soon as reports of the recent attacks in Nottingham reached them, the police there knew that they were seeking either a black man or somebody of South Asian appearance. They would not dare say though, even to each other. Such idiocy hampers efficient policing in Britain.
