This theme works incredibly well with the credits, ending sequence the four lighthouse beacons coming together to form the Golden Sun while Alex climbs Mt. Aleph in order to obtain its power. A really epic finale to a brilliant RPG duo. Still, it constitutes only the first half of the ending.
