Jacksonville Officer Uses Taser on Shoplifting Suspect

While on scene, a Family Dollar employee flagged him down in the parking lot and informed him that a man, later identified as Daniel Forrest, had just stolen from the business and was running across the area. The officer drove and caught up with Forrest on some railroad tracks. Hey come here. Brother Im going to (expletive) tase you, man, the officer said. The officer used a Taser and Forrest fell and hit his head on the pavement. After the officer put handcuffs on Forrest, he called for an ambulance. Just send rescue, the officer can be heard saying.
