Nan Madol is an ancient city built some 2, 000+ years ago out of volcanic rock and sea coral on the Eastern shore of Pohnpei island in the country of Micronesia Its something like Angkor Wat but on the middle of a remote It was a place for royalty gatherings as well as the burial site for the king and queen. I honestly hadnt heard about it until a week ago when my friend mentioned it to me in Nauru, and I am completely blown away by what I have seen here. My friend and I were we were the ONLY ones around to explore and it is just fascinating.
