Middle Ear Cholesteatoma: endoscopic approach
A 51 year old patient was referred for surgery because of an old tympanic perforation without any other symptoms. He denies any discharge or hearing loss in the last year. A presurgical CT scan was performed and a secondary acquired middle ear cholesteatoma was suspected. Because of the cholesteatoma seemed to be confined into the middle ear, we programmed a minimally invasive endoscopic approach to completely remove the disease.
