Cosmo Sheldrake Floras Pond

Listen to the new album Eye To The Ear here: This is composed using recordings I made with a hydrophone in a pond that Flora and I dug during lockdown. Within a day or so a newt had arrived and the pond soon filled up with water boatmen and diving beetles. All the voices are samples of me singing while sitting halfway up a tree in a woodland, with my microphone about 50 feet away on the forest floor to capture something of the reverb and atmosphere of the beech grove.
