Elina Miettinen A Passionate Esmeralda Variation

The very talented Elina Miettinen is the firstever Finnish ballet dancer to be accepted into a major American ballet company: the American Ballet Theatre (ABT) in New York. Elina performed this Esmeralda variation at the Scandinavian dance competition in Sweden in mid2007. She had just turned 20 and for this she won an important award despite the slight bobble in the high extensions because otherwise her variations were so smooth and assured.
