The provincial capital, Buraidah, was the hardest hit. The city turned white from a huge amount of hail. Ice rivers flowed through the streets. Traffic was disrupted. Dozens of cars were trapped in water. Local authorities urged citizens to exercise caution. Buraidah is a city in central Saudi Arabia. The population is about 400, 000 people.
